Lent - a time of violence!
God, the Father, in his infinite grace and mercy sent his son to Earth to save the mankind, to shed the blood of the new and everlasting covenant to atone our sins, to rescue us from the death which sin brings to our lives (Rom 6: 23) and to become like him, for one day we will reach the fullness of grace, glory and happiness that he holds in heaven. It turns out that original sin has negatively affected all of humanity and instead of being drawn to God, to Jesus' sacrifice, to seek heaven, holiness and life in abundance he has brought us (John 10:10), we prefer to bind in the earthly things and to live as if God did not exist.
