What is a priest for?
A priest is not a health minister to keep on advising on coronavirus and other health issues. He can even take on and pass on information, but that is not what he was called for. Extremely worries on this issue is leading many priests to forget what they are there for. A priest is there to be a minister of salvation and throughout his ministry lead on people to Christ for Christ is the way, the truth and the life and we need Jesus to get to God (John 14:6). Jesus is true God and true man and that is our Catholic faith. Bringing a Muslim to sing his call for prayer in a Catholic temple can only mean two things: extreme disrespect to our Catholic faith or lack of knowledge on how they see Jesus. Allah is not our God, Mohammed is not our prophet and sharia is not our law. This is no disrespect to Muslims (and I have some Muslim friends) for that is not our faith but theirs.
